Stanwell Park offers a fabulous day out. We are surrounded by the beautiful escarpment and the sea and we are just an hour’s drive south of Sydney, or 35 minutes north of Wollongong.

It’s one of the best kept secrets on the South Coast and the hidden jewel in “the Park” so shhh don’t tell everyone!

Beach & Bushwalking

If you are looking for a day at the beach it’s all here. Or if you like to get back to nature and do a bit of bushwalking you can do that too.

For the adventurous

	Try a bit of hang gliding off the famous Bald Hill where Sir Lawrence Hargrave tested his boxkite.

Take a harley ride across the newly built $49m Sea Cliff Bridge or even learn to surf our renowned waves.

For the arty

For the arty there are some lovely galleries, an antique store and array of shops offering a bit of everything for everyone. There’s even a gift store in the gardens - the perfect place to buy that unique something for that unique someone! A delightful selection of teas, teapots and all the accessories you need to host your own glorious tea party!
